HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
Gordon Thomson

In recognition of his commitment to the club and to the game of golf, Honorary Membership was conferred on Gordon Thomson at the recent AGM.

Gordon joined Bearsden Golf Club some 45 years ago, has held several positions on the committee and was Captain in 1997. Latterly he was Club Treasurer and was instrumental in driving through the land sale and, as Chairman of the Development Committee oversaw the construction of our new clubhouse and the other improvements to our facilities.

On the course, Gordon has represented the club with distinction on many occasions and won our Club Championship 11 times.
